Effective mass variables.

Post by pbtoro » Mon May 07, 2018 3:45 pm

Hi abiniters

I need to know, what is the role of the variables "efmas_deg" and "efmas_deg_tol" ? is necessary add them into my file (.in) for the effective mass calculations? because, i am studying the example proposed by abinit, the topic is effective mass calculations, [ Test for the calculation of effective mass tensor in Si] but i proved with and without these variables and always get the same value for the effective mass in any point.

Many thanks for reading and for any answer.
