Abinit 6.8.2 compile error with openmpi & pathscale

Post by ljw » Fri Oct 07, 2011 4:25 am

Hi,
When I try to compile Abinit 6.8.1 or 6.8.2 by openmpi 1.4.1 installed with pathscale (ekopath 4) in RHEL6, some errors happen.

Re: Abinit 6.8.2 compile error with openmpi & pathscale

Post by jbeuken » Sat Oct 08, 2011 3:28 pm

Hello,

/tmp/pathcc-s-74b0dc51.s:4669:2: error: ORG overlap with already existing data
.org 0x0
^

I had this error with the "free" version ( nightly build = develpoment ) ( I had introduce a bug report...)

I was able to compile the version 6.8 ( and 6.10 ) but with the paid version ;)

Code: Select all

pathf90 --version
PathScale (tm) Compiler Suite: Version 4.0.9
Built on:
Thread model: posix
GNU gcc version 4.1.2 (PathScale 4.0.9 driver)

my configure.ac :

Code: Select all

enable_64bit_flags="yes"
enable_debug="yes"
enable_mpi="yes"
enable_mpi_io="yes"
with_mpi_prefix="/usr/local/openmpi-path64"
with_linalg_flavor="netlib"
with_linalg_libs="-L/usr/local/lib64/linalg_psc -llapack -lblas"
enable_gw_dpc="yes"

but there are a lot of problem with bigdft/etsf-io tests and 1 with the mpiio series

Code: Select all
