There is a postdoctoral position in condensed matter theory and quantum dynamics in the group of Benjamin Fregoso at Kent State University (KSU), Physics Department. Applications are invited for this postdoctoral position, with areas of interest that include (but not limited to)

[Nonlinear optical response of solids.
Nonequilibrium properties of solids.
Superconductivity/Ferroelectricity/Topology.

Active collaborations with other research groups within KSU and other institutions (theoretical and experimental) will be encouraged. Candidates should have PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics or closely related field, be highly motivated, and have a background in analytical and/or numerical methods. Familiarity with density functional theory methods is a plus. The position is for one year, with a possibility of extension. The start date is flexible, applications for this position will be collected until the position is filled.
