Error Unknown in bzr status

Post by aromero » Thu Mar 10, 2011 4:31 am

I did include some development in Abinit 6.7.1 and I was able to compile and run it. When I did use bzr status I always get

macbook-pro-de-aldo-romero:6.7.1-private aldoromero$ bzr status
unknown:
src/42_geomoptim/m_use_ga.F90

even though, this module exist and it was correctly compiled it in my machine (even it runs!).. is there anything I can do?

it is basically the development I have done.

Thanks!

Hello Aldo,

As you're editing a new file, I think that you have to "bzr add" it in order to have it versioned by bazaar. Otherwise, the file has the "unknown" status i.e. not versioned and not ignored. If I "touch hello" and then do a "bzr status", it returns "unknown: hello". Then after "bzr add hello", status says "added: hello". After that you have to commit and push. Or "bzr remove hello --keep" / "bzr remove hello --force" to unversion /get rid of the file.
