GW memory

Post by reinaldo-z » Tue Mar 03, 2015 7:49 pm

Hello,

I am having some difficulty running a GW calculation using the ABINIT code. We run out of memory very rapidly when converging. I would like to know if our computer system has the necessary requirements. Could you please tell me how the RAM scales during the calculation of the GW correction? I would really appreciate any assistance.

Also, if it is possible, can you please give me the corresponding formula?

I want to use the gwmem = 11 option.

Thank you!

Dear reinaldo-z
if you use gwmem=0 is better for you
to reduce requirement memory.
